[Radio] Open-plan classrooms may break sound barrier


Proposed “open-plan” classrooms where up to 100 children may occupy the same large room subdivided into several smaller classrooms allow for resource sharing and open learning. However, there are several concerns about their implementation, with one of the largest being the noise generated.

I spoke with Kiri Mealings from Macquarie University about the potential for open-plan classrooms to expand learning.
