[Radio] The genetics of domestic cats

Cats are very popular pets, with over 3 million kept in Australia alone. Recent research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science has mapped parts of domesticated cats’ genomes to particular characteristics and traits that distinguish them from their wild relatives. How has domestication changed cats?
